The 1990 studio album "Mozart - Salieri: Castrato Arias and Motets," featuring soprano/countertenor Arno Raunig with Walter Kobera and the Amadeus Ensemble Wien, presents a unique musical pairing of the two composers. Recorded in August 1989 in Vienna, this album highlights works written for castrati, including Salieri's motet "Fremat Tyrannus" and rare Mozart arias.
